I need new brake pads for my 2002 honda odessey and have some questions.

1) Can I use pads from the local autoparts store or do I really need to buy the honda pads at the dealer? The dealer wants to rape me IMO.

2) Car has antilock brakes. Can I just compress the caliper piston with a c clamp without trashing my anti lock brake system. I have been told that I will need to clamp the brake hose and then open the bleeder screw on the caliper to comperss the piston. I dont want to bleed the brakes.

3) What, if any tricks are there for doing the rear?

4) Anything else?
