Get aquality car wash kit. (wool wash mitt, quality car shampoo, and a soft towel to dry)
Here is what I use on my Wife's BLACK 01 Dodge Durango.
I don't like using chamois or the absorber as I found they are more likely to scratch. The ultimate drying towel has not scratched the truck yet.

Read it, learn then go buy the black one!!
