Well Ive heard of using longer rods and moving the pin up in the piston to help we rod to stroke ratio. Also I dont rev the crap out of my engine or try to race people everday. And another thing is Im going to use aftermarket pistons and rods. I want to have a CR of about 10:1 maybe lower. Sometime In the future I want to run a supercharger on it. Ive heard another thing is that it has rods that weigh in around 520 grams then the ls rods are like 580. Then they said the GSR rods are shotpeened. Im going to do a full built like forged rods. I decided on high silicone forged pistons. I might have the money for some skunk2 stage 2 cams thats what I want to use if I do. Its going to be a street car so I dont think so on the 12:1 cr part. Also will the LS crank work in the gsr block and fit properly and everything? Which Main bearings do I use? Another thing Ive thought bout is using a deck riser or whatever its called. That you put between the head and block to raise it up so I can use longer rods.
Thanks
