Yea takeing others settings and running them on a diff engine isn't the best idea, but with O2 readings around 1000??? This is normal to you guys? My buddy with a Grand Prix was saying that his O2's stay around 920-930 and thats a little rich but he's running a smaller pulley on his supercharger so it helps. I just want to get closer to where I should be before installing a turbo and would rather not play ignorant and just pay someone to tune my car for me when I'm perfectly capable of learnin myself, I just need some help.
well see, thats the thing. With dyno tune, it isnt something you can just DIY with the help of a handbook and some patience. You CAN'T do it without the propper equipment, and to try to would be stupid, unless your car isnt running anyway, or you don't like your motor in the first place.
Just wait, if its running rich then so be it, just wait til you get everything attached and spend money on a dyno tune session , noone will think your ignorant. It's just not worth it to screw up a motor because of impatience.
Someone will probably argue that you can kind of do it with a Autometer A/F gauge... they are innacurate as fawk, and I would trust my sense of smell before relying on them.
