All the A'PEXi exhausts for some reason hit the gas tanks on the Civics. My N1 did that until I moved the hangers a bit and used a rubber exhaust hanger to sandwich it between the tank and the joint that was hitting.
I know when I put my new COmptech sway bar in and then the WS exhaust it was like 3mm away from each other.
I might have tried the same thing, it's been a while since I had the exhaust. I just remember the pipe hanger or the actual pipe was vibrating very badly off the tank or chassis. My Greddy system fit pretty good but there was a slight contact with the Neuspeed rear sway bar.
