The reason is for the glare and having the light go all over the place. I don't think it's legal even after you buy projector headlights, but I don't think the cops will care as long as there is minimal glare.
I'm using stock headlights, just stuck the bulbs in there.
To tell you the truth, I just put em in there and I was lucky enough to have em aimed right. :chuckles:
