. yeah, right.
ill give you that it is expensive, COULD mean downtime for your car if you dont know how to install, and it uses up a little more oil. but for starters, you can get the greddy kit which is meant to match your car so there is no custom fabricating needed. constant tuning? maybe if you switch your engine management from a daily driver to "race" all the time. i didn't have to tune my car at all (greddy kit once again). if you keep adding different parts to your setup you will have to keep re-tuning but some people are happy with the power they get. well atleast until the boost bug bites them. and i guess you can't change the hp of a turbo, oh wait.... YOU CAN! its called a BOOST CONTROLLER. and turbos are just fine for daily driving. if you dont need the power, you shift before the turbo spools up. if you want power, then you mash your foot down and there it is. if a turbo is tuned right, it is 100X safer then nitrous. with nitrous, you have to keep wondering if your engine is going to explode every time you use it. plus to me, i feel that nitrous is fake hp.
sorry for the long response, but your post was just a tad misleading, especially with the comment that the only pros from a turbo is bragging rights.
