a FI car is just as reliable as a NA car as long as the internals are properly upgraded and tuned by a professional.

I've had my GTI VR6 turbod since 99 and its a 98.
The only major issue i've had is with my axles breaking under all that torque.
I had to get axles custom made and so far so good.
Im running at 13psi and havent had any problems whatso ever.

So I say if you go FI prepare to spend alot of money to perfect it.
If spending alot of money scares you off then go NA.

Plus I heard H22's perform better if kept N/A.
