GSR had 14mm rear whereas the 94-7 LS/RS/GS/SE coupes had 13mm (sedans had 14mm), then 98-01 ALL models (minus the ITR) upgraded to 14mm rears as well. There is NO difference in spring rates or dampener stiffness between the non-ITR models. The GSR did get a front strut bar STANDARD unlike the RS/LS/GS/SE models.

The RS does NOT have a stiffer chassis than the ITR, as the ITR has reinforcement in the roof, b-pillars, and the rear wheelwells and arch extensions were made thicker - including subframe reinforcement.

Brakes: same diameter rotors (front and back) among the non-ITR models.

94-5 GSR motors had a simple oil cooler equipped from the factory, 96+ GSR's did not.
Isn't there a difference between the GS-R front sway bar assembly and those of the RS and LS? I have an LS and I remember looking into getting a GS-R or Type-R front sway bar put in but it involved replacing more than the bar and bushings. There was like a ball joint or something.

Also, isn't the exhaust system on certain model year GS-Rs slightly different?

On a side note: I think we were comparing the stiffness of the chassis of an RS w/B18c to a GS-R (and not to a Type-R) where the chassis of the RS would be stiffer since it doesn't have a moonroof.
