I'll chime in. EG & EK refer to the chassis.

Not all 96-00 Civic's are EK's.

EG is any 92-95 Civic and Sol. But not limited to, there are some 92-95 Civic's that are not EG's. There are EH & EJ

Ferio is any four door Civic, in JAPAN.

The number rerers to the trim level. IE: EG8 is a Civic with a 1.5l motor. EG9 is a Civic with a 1.6l VTEC motor. There are online databases that list entire breakdowns of these, actually if you search our old posts, I believe they are all found here

EG6 is a 92-95 HB in JAPAN. To my knowledge, there are no EG6's made in US.

EK9 is the Civic Type R.

Please do some research before answering 92eg6.
