With those kind of horsepower goals, you'll either be looking at a b16 or b18c.

B18c will cost about a thousand dollars more, but you can probably hit 175 whp with bolt ons. I'm not sure you could get 175 whp out of a b16 on the stock cams.

The problem is, there's a bit of a gap between what you can get with just bolt ons, and what you'll end up with after cams & pistons.


If you're just looking for a bit of fun I think you'll be happy either way, so don't concern yourself too much with specific numbers.
