04' tires and steering issues
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I read a review on the 04' Accord that cited the steering as being somewhat innacurate for lack of a better word. I don't recall exactly how the described it, but i have noticed that my 04' coupe's steering is not as good as my 2001 civic's was. It seems to never have a center point and feels like it wants to wander. I'm always correcting for it much more than my civic. I wish i could describe it better, but i can't seem to find the words, so i'm hoping someone who also has noticed this might chime in.
I also can't help but think it might be tire related. I have the bridgestone turenzas, but i believe it may depend on just when you bought your latest gen Accord as to whether you got turenzas with it or not. Possibly the reason for most reviews not mentioning this steering issue is that many or most of the reviewers had non-turenza equipped Accords? Also i read many reviews on the turenza and found a lot of people complaining that they had to have them replaced because one or more of them were out of round. So does anyone have any opinions on the turenzas good or bad ? I'd really like to hear from anyone who has gotten new tires for the latest gen Accord to replace stock turenzas and what they experienced from the change both in regards to the steering issue and any other things you noticed such as quietness and grip.
