i think my girl is plannin to get me a compressor... but i dont know for sure

either way i might have killed my chances last nite

long story short, there is a 30 gal upright at sears on sale, i told her about it. she told me for my use i wouldnt need anything that big but me - not trusting that if she was gonna get me one she would do some research - denied it and said no you gotta go big.

then i asked a friend and he said i wouldnt want anything other than 100 gal or it would always be runnin and since it would be next to me while i worked, i wouldnt want it to run....

i told her and she got mad, now she says even if she was considering getting me a compressor, she wasnt gonna get me somethin even 30 gal, and now she didnt think anything she got me would make me happy cuz id say it wasnt big enough....

im stuck!

what size compressor is "big enough" i dont need anything crazy that cant operate a spray booth or 6 stall garage, just something to run a ratchet off of, maybe a grinder and an impact gun, of course not all at the same time.
