I agree that it should be the first thing to go whenever a $ problem arises but I do enjoy that forum.
Whenever closing it down rears its head we do usually recommend www.off-topic.net, but more often than not the OT stuff just creeps into the technical forums not only using bandwidth for people reading it but also requiring Mod/Admin attention to lock/move the thread.
