Default B18B1 Air Intake questions (yes I searched forums already)

Well, after having my 01 Integra LS for a few weeks (got a great deal on it, only 29,500 miles and still several years warranty left), I'd like to find some ways to increase the gas mileage a bit and possibly get a bit more torque out of it. I've already searched the forums and still have a couple questions. It seems that someone mentioned the stock resonator that feeds to the stock airbox and that removing that does a bit of good. I'm just looking at replacing the stock air intake for now, possibly in a few years going to forced induction, but that's waaaaaaaaay down the road. Anyway, I'd been looking at the Injen short ram, but I read through the forums that it actually can decrease horsepower by becoming a heat shield in itself. I've also found a Hayame "pro flow" air intake and was wondering if anyone has any experiance with it. I can't find any dyno tests with it, and I'm looking for more torque because usually I run my car below 4000 rpms. I'm curious, too, if most people have just stuck with the stock intake box and arm and put in a different air filter. It's a 5spd, by the way. I'm just looking for a bit extra "passing power" and, as I said, a bit more mpg. I'd like to keep the price under $200, so that's why I'm only after the air intake and nothing else for now.
Thanks in advance.
