Thanks, after I posted I went out to reset the ECU, but for some reason decided to check the oil first, it was low, very low. I just got back from Checker and put about 3 quarts in (Valvoline Max Life), the engine hasn't jerked since and the last post reassured me that it must have been because of low oil. Thanks for the help and I am glad it wasn't something serious.
