At first I thought maybe the fuel was being cut off at this RPM, but if I keep accelerating it will jerk a couple times and then keep going to redline. It mostly happens in first and second gear and doesn't happen everytime, but most of the time. Also if I accelerate slow and go to red line, it doesn't jerk at all. There is no check engine light on or anything. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea what it could be? Should I try resetting the ECU, if so, how? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Have you checked your motor mounts? My old accord used to "stutter" that way.... I cam to find out a motor mount was bad when i was doing some other repairs. I Changed it out and never had the "stutter" again. Might be worth a check.
