It's not that simple, rotaries are very sophisticated in terms of making power. It's has a weird torque band. But makes hp just the same of that of a high revving engine(at high rpms). It makes 160 lbs of torque and 240 hp as you said and redlines at 9000rpms. I'd say it's on par with the F20C, but you know the RX-8 is bigger and such.
