ive been having back brake trouble for a while now. it started with squeeking, so i changed the back pads (disk brakes) after that it started grinding, but only when going foreward.. not in reverse and not while brakeing..

i also replaced the rotor trying to correct the problem..

but anyway the question is,

do the back brakes on a 94 accord have pad "shims"?

if it is supposed to that may be my problem, if not... any suggestions?
