Agreed. The weight and power differences are negligible and I think I remember C/D reporting that the gear ratios in the auto tC are very "race unfriendly". I'm not surprised at all you won. I tried to find the gear ratios but could only find the 5spd ratios for the tC.
that was what i was thinking exactly, since I began pulling on 2nd gear.
do you think the mods had to do with anything?
