Default Rattling noise lfrom front passenger side

hi,
I had posted a problem regarding a rattling noise coming from the passenger side last week. The noise was intermittent and exactly sounded like some insect or rattle snake under the hood. The strange thing was it did not speed up or down with the car speed and niether did it come when the car reversed. I took it to one of the mechanics (AAA certified) nearby and he said that the clutch was the problem and would cost $1000 to replace. I could no way spend so much so I took it to another mechanic who was refered to by my friend. He told the same thing that the clutch was the problem....and said he would charge 600 bucks to change it...I agreed but unfortunately even after he replaced the clutch the same rattling noise is going on.....I am really very depressed as I have spent so much in vain.....
Today when I was driving the car with the same annoying noise.......I suddenly noticed that when I sped up the ABS light came on and the sound stopped......
And there was no sound as long as the ABS on the dashboard was on......
I think the ABS system is the reason behind this noise......can anyone please let me know how to turn the system off or disconnect it,.....I have a 1992 ACURA INTEGRA.....
PLEASE ALSO LET ME KNOW IF DISCONNECTING THE ABS WILL HAMPER BRAKING OR LEAD TO ANY OTHER PROBLEM..
Any help will be really appreciated....
Thanks,
Gaurav
