my rear right brake dragged and did the same thing... it got my axxis ultimates so hot they smoked badly. Everything seemed to be in good order when I checked it, so I just let the pad wear down for a while, and the lazy-ass, ghetto solution worked fine. Do you have new pads? Its possible they're just a little too thick.
