It's not covered under the warranty (and I have the extended). Predictably so, they consider this type of thing normal wear and tear. They're charging me $240 for parts/labor; I promptly replied "No thank you!".

I'm not looking for racing/performance pads as I don't race, but I was hoping to get high quality pads that a)won't wear out as quickly and b)will provide me with additional braking ability (although I know this would be marginal as everything else is stock).

At any rate, I'll look into the AEM pads; thanks MaxBoosT.
