In short, no, no it is not a good motor, if by good you mean powerful. The HFs get rediculous gas mileage--43/49 for your year. The stock D15B6 is SOHC 8-valve and gets something like 62 horsepower. Obviously, it's a commuter car. However, HFs are sometimes preferred for swaps 'cause of their weight--they lack several of the ammenities that the DX and Si versions of the rexes have, and they weigh a couple hundred pounds less as a result. You can probably find a replacement engine for a hundred bucks, put it in yourself, and you've got an ideal daily driver.
