97-98 B20's are B20B's, which are rated at 126hp at the flywheel and 133ft-lbs of torque. They have that long giraffe intake manifold that won't fit under your hood.


99-00 B20's are B20Z's, and are rated at 146hp and 133ft-lbs. These have a funky resonator thing on top of the intake manifold, but it should clear your hood.


Most B20's that are available nowadays are JDM B20B's, so most people just swap an LS intake manifold on them, or ditch the head entirely and use a VTEC head.
