they are made for the headlight harnesses, one clip and thats all for the power source, and the rest is very simple... i bought the plug and play...hid's..not ones i had to retro fit..

the whole conversion/retro fitting is a lot more techincal..where you actually get a projector out of another car and cut the back of your headlight and fit it..and all that... it probably works better.
