If the clutch has failed, which is what I suspect, you'll be replacing:

• The clutch disc
• The pressure plate
• The throwout (aka pilot) bearing

• And the flywheel will need resurfacing as well.

Depending on who you go to, and the parts used, I'd plan on a $400 to $600 job. It takes a fair bit of work to get the transmission out of the way.

But then again, when you spread that cost out over 100,000 miles or so, it's not too bad. h:
