It's a little loud for my taste, though. h:
I originally went with 2.5" tubing after the cat, since I was planning to boost in the near term.

Since that looks less and less likely, I'm gonna change things up a bit.
I'd like to knock off 10- 12 decibels or so, without losing flow efficiency.
