Try Nail Polish Remover Pads
Trying to find out how you guys remove paint from plastic parts and wanting to know the answer myself I thought I would use a nail polish remover pad, as I don't have any brake fluid lying around, and found it works really well!! I used a type called "Quickies" made by JEYES (here in the UK) which contains the following : Butyrolactone, Methoxyisopropanol, Diethylene Glycol, Laneth-10, and Panthenol (that is used to protect your nails!) It is acetone free which is good as I think Acetone is quite harsh and might damage plastic. Give it a try and let me know if this works! I was trying to remove Gold paint from a Resin Plastic Cherub and stumbled across this forum so thought I would post a reply.
