o dont know about d-series but b-series goes like this and i cant picture it being much different:

-theres a tiny hole drilled in the cam(s) that lines up with a hole in one of the cam caps put an allen wrench through it to hold it in place

-you adjust the crank pully to TDC (there is a notch in the crank pully that lines up with a line on the plastic belt cover.

-slide the timing belt back on the cam gear(s) being carefull not to slip the crank from TDC

-than put a 19mm socket on the crank pully bole and rotate counterclockwise till all the timing belt tension is on the back side of the motor, than tighten the tensioner

-retorque the crank pully bolt

-do a valve adjustment

-put the valve cover back on

and it'll fire right up
