ok now back to you ikarus umm..
First most important your car is obd2b. remember this obd2b theres a difference from obd2 and obd2b the most power well that cant be determined unless you give me a list of what your planning on doing to your car. as for n/a id go with gsr , type r , or b20vtec. for f/i id go with ls motor or b16 lowered compression. in a hatch anything is fast. it all depends on your budget. since your going turbo. i would go with b16. lowered compression .but its more cash the ls will hold the most boost. gsr have higher compression can take the boost but not for long. the ls can hold a lil more boost that the b16 but the b16 have the all mighty vtec to help that turbo spool up faster. my conclusion would be b16 motor. my boy had a gen 1 jdm b16 turbo boosting 15 lb on stock motor for about 6 month that shit was a BEAST out ran worked to **** type r engines. the turbo would lag a lil but the vtec opened at 3500 - 5000 rpm so the turbo spooled up quicker. WOW sit was fast till he bent 14 valves out of 16 for not working the head .before anything though remember before running any type of boost get that shit tunned. Fuel pump. fuel rail, fuel pressure reg, injectors, fuel filter ect.. for starters. i got a b20/vtec supercharged LOVE ITTTTTTTT lol boostign 13lb whoa!!! lol.... holla at me when you finish. we could race.. hahha good luck man
