You're serious? These so called assault weapons have been used consistently in less than 2% of all gun crimes, both before and during the ban.

the gun of choice for thugs are cheap, easily concealable weapons. Not expensive tec-9 and uzi's.... both of which are still semi-automatic, and both fire the same type of rounds that a glock fires.

Then again, you also don't think that civilians should own any defensive firearms - that upsets me.
