help...code 14 on civic hatch with ls swap
My friend and I just put a 95(obd1) Integra LS engine into his 2000 civic dx hatch. Everything seems to be running right except for the fact that we adjusted the idle and it still idles at like 500 rpms and sometimes 700. It throws the code 14. Which if I remember correctly is the IACV. So would it be the IACV its self or something. I checked the vacuum line and seems to be hooked up fine and such. Is there anyway to test it? I put this 2nd question in here because it idled alot better once we this so it could be related. Where do all the emission control vacuum lines go? I have a 95 LS and my black box or emission control box is different. It dosent have a source to plug into from the throttle boddy on his. Like on mine it goes from the throttle body to the black box. On his there is no where to plug it into. So what we did is left the one for the egr with no line and hooked the one from the throttle body to the evap or purge on his black box. So is that right or what should we do.
