I cant remember if you need to run hotter or colder plugs. But if you run the wrong ones it will foul them out over and over again. It gets frusterating. If its the MAP you should be getting a check engine light. IF not then its probably your plugs or your ecu. You CANNOT use the stock accord VTEC ecu. Manual or auto. Its fuel maps are way wrong and i think that the stock revlimit on the accord ecu is 6500 or some where around there. If you havent already then you should go on ebay and get a skunk2 or JUN reprogramed ecu. You should be able to pick one up for around 200 dollars and I noticed a HUGE diffrence from the Stock H22a ECU. Hope that helps some.
helps alot acutally. right now i have a obd2b type r ecu you in it and it still sputters at low rpm though. i advanced the distributer all the way and it stopped it . but then i put it back to normal and it goes back to that sputtering again. and i cant even hear the vtec open! ggrr the map sensor is the one on top of the throttle body right?
