Thinking of buying a used 98-99 accord for a good friend of mine who is in a bind and needs a car.ive been helping him a lot lately but dont want to drop $30,000 on a new car. just something to get him around for a while. i have found a few honda accord 2 door ex coupes with the v6 automatic tranny for around $7,000 with roughly 100,000+ miles on them. how well do these cars hold up. i own several honda motorcycles and 4 wheeler because they make the best small engine. Is it the same way with the cars. Ive never owned a honda automobile and have no clue as to how they perform or how well they hold up maintenence wise. I have to leave for 2 months to work on a project and if it breaks down on him then he is just SOL.

sorry for the long story. i would just like some basic information on this car if anyone can help me.
