When a line drive came at me standing in the on deck circle it busted my nose up, broke it and i had a wicked nosebleed (blood spewing out everywhere, all over my hands, jersey, etc.)... ambulance took me to the hospital and the "professional" doctor took a pair of tweezers and a strip of some type of fabric and jammed it up my nostrils, stopped the bleeding pretty quickly but hurt like a bitch!
