stopped for gas - turned off engine - turned on engine but car does not turn over. Everything sounds normal except the engine never turns over. Checked for spark by pulling wire from distributor and looking for spark - non to be found. I am hoping it is the coil - I took the cap off - everything looks clean, no burn marks. Is th coil easy to change - are there manuals on line?

Also I was told the timing belt should be changed soon about three months ago- car has 120000 miles. If the timing belt breaks - would I still get spark? or does it turn the rotor in the distrib?
