The dude at the dealership told me it could be from 80-160 for checking to see what caused the check engine light. Plus theres the high possibilty that there computers diagnostics crap wont be able to help my car out since its so old and they gonna have to do it manually with a strobe light or something like that. I went to autozone but they said they can only do cars from 95 and up which eliminates my car. I might try pep boys and see what they say. Im just trynna find someone who will do it without me having to go to the dealership cus i know they gonna have a field day with me.

OBD1 is still usable...

You need to stop wasting money, buy a haynes or helms manual, and figure out how to do some stuff on your own, if anything itll be a good learning experience, and if your afraid you wont have your car for a day, get the hell on HAN when its not running, post pics, and tell us the problem, and itll be solved in no time. I mean really its not worth taking it to the stealership just for them to jump a wire between the two diagnostic ports, look up the code, and tell you what it means, when you have all these resources from just this website to look at.

Anyway, do as you please, but I think it would be a good learning experience for you anyway.
