There's a couple of ways that it can be done:

1) switch that interrupts the power to the fuel pump
2) switch that interrupts power to the coil
3) switch that interrupts the power to the starter actuation (my first choice, although the car could still be push started if manual)
4) switch that interrupts the completion of the no clutch/no start circuit
