Thanx Guys i think i figured out the answer to my first problem. I dont think (havent driven enough) that my CEL will be coming back on cus i checked my oil and there was NOTHING in there which i cant seem to put my finger on due to the fact that i check my car periodically for leaks everytime im at work(paranoid when it comes to leaks) and i havent once seen a drop of anything on the ground. I just had the oil done at 129,000 miles and i now got like 130,500. So i filled it up and the car smiled at me and we're in love once again. But she is still dealing with the problem with the speedometer. The speedometer seemed to show some life when i pulled off then 3 seconds later and died. The whole cluster works but the speedometer. I thought there was another problem cus my RPM seems to idle near 500 which from time to time shoots up to like 1200 when i put it in park but it goes back down to 500 i dont know what thats about but i heard thats pretty normal. Well thanx for the help guys if u still got comments let me know. Also thanx Sam, Honura and the other people who decided they would be nice enough to help me out.

I got into the habit of checking oil EVERY gas change, I suggest you do the same , so you dont go through this problem again

Anyway swap out your cluster for another persons cluster, if your speedo is still dead then its either a ground or your VSS (vehicle speed sensor) thats died.
Anyway for the power surging , does it do it when your holding on brakes? It could be a small vacuum leak somewhere.
