I'm not really one to comment on percentages, but given the shoestring margin on which the last election was won and the opinion polls which have been fluctuating around dead even since Kerry became the presumptive nominee, I'd say we'll be in for a close race. There are too many people entrenched in one side or the other, and the only way you get anything other than a close race from that sort of a political climate is to have an extremely formidable candidate. Now I know you're probably going to argue this point, so you can save it, but neither Bush or Kerry is that candidate.
