adaptation!! it has existed since the beginning of life forms, so I think if the world doesn't end by some black hole sucking it up and it in fact ends up being a accidental detonation of some kind of WMD, than im sure that life forms will adapt to whatever living conditions are available. So unless the earth is destroyed by some huge ass meteor or some kind of sun fart than civilization will adapt to the existing living conditions. :dunno:
