Bust the tire off, if there's no discernable damage to your pads, rotors, or caliper, nor is there any leak in the line, its prolly CV joint or suspension related.
sorry to bring this thread back to life, but i just noticed this today on my 6th gen coupe. i do feel the change in firmness. and it doesnt make a popping noise, more like a deep rumble, and a kind of studder stop. any help on this? done this three times today, never had it before
