Well I had thought about the F series motors for a while and now am finally starting my swap. Putting an F series all motor in my 88 HB. The motor is at a shop right now waiting its turn to get the head worked. If all comes out well 200 whp is very very doable with basic parts(well besides i/h/e), cam, cam gear, hondata and some nice tuning with the headwork. have to see how the H22 IM will work on it as well. Plans are also to put in prelude overbore pistons to make it a 88 mm bore instead of a 86 mm. compression will still be pretty low.
Why not simply Convert this engine with a series of easy yet very Viable mods.... And they keep your hatchback N/A....
Well you didn't include cold air, headers, and exhaust, otherwise I would've said to improve compression ratio with a new Header system coupled to exhaust H-/X-pipe.
-Full conversion to DOHC flam-cam.
-Install v. valve system to increase flow.
-Optimize fuel injectors (Non-carburated motors)

Also - a simple Racing chip with a Hondata program. One could probably pick on up on the cheap from eBay with warranty. Has anyone else considered buying Electronic equipment on eBay?
