LOL... There's no way to test that theory. A Prelude driver in an ITR won't do as well as the ITR driver in the ITR, and an ITR driver in a Prelude won't do as well as the Prelude driver in the Prelude.

Using H2 rules in Honda Challenge, Corey Jacobs took the championship in '02 with a VTEC Prelude. The championship in '03 was so close between Corey's Prelude and Jason's ITR that it came down to the last race on the last day of the last event of the season. It was a nail biter.

The advantage an H22A has over a B18C is that it'll pull stronger with more torque at its high RPM limit. The advantage the BB has over the DC2 is its wide track, double wishbone stability that allows the driver to make some pretty radical moves on the track.

The issue that holds back the Preludes when competing with ITR and other cars is the fact that development of both motor and suspension parts for the BB Prelude and the H22A motors stopped a long time ago, and quality parts are hard to come by.

I have tried to get Corey to switch from the BB to a DC2, CL7 or EP3 but he is very stubborn.
