Again, I agree.

There's no need to try to run an OBD2 ECU on an OBD1 car. It doesn't matter that the engine is OBD2. You just use an OBD1 ECU and it won't be looking for those extra sensors that the OBD2 engine has to offer. I run an OBD1 P72 ECU on my '97 B18C1.
