I think this issue has many shades of grey, though.
If nothing else, I'd play the field.
If something genuine ignites, then great.
But, having led a decadent life style and having witnessed and experienced some of the horrors of such a lifestyle, one is forced to clutch on to that last virtue of chastity like a drowning man clutching at a piece of straw and hoping for a miracle. It again comes down to being a non conformist and doing the unexpected. People expect history to repeat itself so they can say I told you so, I take pride in the fact that I have not become like my family and making people stop in their tracks and go "You are related to them?"

Who knows, maybe I am all wrong and maybe this whole virtuous lifestyle is wrong. But, then I see a lot of people like me, specially women, and I realize that there is hope that I will not be a complete misfit.
