i'm running the p73 ecu with my b18c spec r, but i've only been able to take it up to 8500 rpms at most before the motor gets cut off...arent these ECUs supposed to go all the way to 8900??? im a little confused about it...its a stock ecu but i have a VAFC attached with no settings, no fuel changes, vtec crossover at 5500 rpms, is that the stock crossover too?...could that be causing it to cut off at 8500? also if it makes a difference the stock EX harness was used and an obd2a to obd2b adapter was used to hook up to the ECU.
