MAYBE 1999, but i'm sure that color was not available in 1997. make sure u get the VIN so u can do basic checks on it. carfax, autocheck, even the honda owners link to see original color in case it was painted. but yea as long as everything got fixed properly, it shouldn't be a problem
Yeah EBP preludes came out only in 2001. Better carfax it urself, smells fishy, take it to a mechanic and have that frame check out. Also if ur paying for it in cash you might as well only get liability insurance. That salvage title will make a big difference on ur insurance payments, especially full coverage payments. I'd recommend getting a lude that wasn't salvaged I'm sure u could find a decent '97 with a clean title for about that price. Peace
