:eh: i went from something like 1.5 GB to over 3.5GB after uncompressing and deleting the .pk4 files.
now to see if it makes any difference..
edit > hmm, didn't notice anything really.
i would try the other suggestion as posted above, but i think i might need another stick of 512MB first. in game, mem usage got up to ~800MB! :eek4:
